The 'Little' Swag B-)

Too Young, Too Sensual...

Its disturbing! Its pathetic! Its really a matter of shame! But something has to be done regarding this. I mean... how can the wifi stop working when all the bills are already paid. daaah! Silly Networks!
Anyways, that can be sort out with just a call at the service centre. But there is something more disturbing! More Painful! Something that we have either overlooked or took it as a note of trendy development in our country. Something that appears absent. Something that I find hard to re-accomplish. (and here the networks are back, long live wifi).

Loss of innocence in childhood is a complex reality. Little girls are proud to admit that they want to be "hot and sexy" too soon. Pre-teen kids dance proactively to item numbers like Muni and Shiela. I remember, when I was a kid, guests at home would ask me to dance or sing. My all time favourite at such situations used to be 'Bole Chudia Bole Kangna', from K3G. And no matter how I performed, I was always treasured for the decency and purity I performed with. Opposing to this, a 10-year younger generation prefer to ape sensual dance steps of beside the point item songs, flashing fakeness and impurity. Here I pay homage to the LOSS of INNOCENCE (for gifting us junior adults).

The present generation has too much information. These kids know everything and have experienced nothing. Young girls are dressing more like adults because the markets are overflowing with lavishing adult fashion for those little ones. Contemporary Media is declaring that all other aspects of one's personality like intelligence, artistic abilities, spirituality, community contributions are worthless. Needless to mention, this have a negative impact on young minds, including high incidence of eating disorders(as a kid, they should crave for chocolates, not 0-size figures).
Children are already being bombarded with sexual images. They are even more vulnerable, since the societal and cultural attitudes prevents such discussions. Kids who aren't a part of this feels odd. There is pressure on them to indulge in such talks. Every little innocent one wants a fit in the crew. For this, they will leave no stone unturned. Wearing make-ups like applying Pan-Cakes, Selective and standarised choice (something that their favourite actors wore in their last hit/flop) in anything and everything, is now the new defination of young and innocent. The way little ones dress up is worrying. Children today are far more cautious about their looks than their minds can handle. This also create a negative impact on their emotional lives. Through internet, music videos, and various television shows, kids are getting wrong impression.

There is a need to curb the amount of adult oriented material accessed by kids. We need the laws that are sensible enough to be practically implemented. Parents also need to indulge proactively in their kid's life. A child should always reflect his/her divine simplicity, unmatched cuteness and adorable charm.
